Early in my career, I saw a huge gap between effective and ineffective bosses.
While they were all great people, some helped the department meet and exceed the mission, and others barely met the mission.
We had the right people to become a vision-attaining LEADERSHIP TEAM; we simply didn’t have the pipeline in-place to produce it.
Through trial and error, an effective Boss Factory, if you will, was established. Adopting the concept of Continual Improvement, the program continued to produce better and more effective Supervisors, Managers and Leaders; resulting in a mission-meeting, vision-attaining team, that led the organization through the Great Recession….
